Happy Spring

Last year, Spring had a heavy heart. We were all so focused on what was happening that we forgot to smell the flowers.

This year, thanks to our vaccination schedule, the mood and outlook are a little brighter it seems.

People are venturing out a little more. And we are too! Cleaning and preparing our building for spring and summer. The events we hope will come. The people we hope to see.

We have miss you all so much!

So stop by, we are open 9:30 to 5:00 weekdays and 10:00 to 3:00 Saturdays. We would LOVE to see you.

For your one of a kind gifts for Mother’s and Father’s Days, graduations, birthdays. Maybe something for you? Classes haven’t started yet, we are hopeful later in the year to be able to offer them. Hopefully..

So stop in and say hi, pick up a little something, or order a custom piece…

-Cheers!!

Holiday Shopping 2020

Happy Holidays!

www.ShopPickerArtists.com

This year, we are doing things a little different for the holiday season. To limit the amount of people in our building at once, and to help our customers stay safe, we encourage you to shop at our online store, www.ShopPickerArtists.com.

You are still welcome to come inside our building. Note that City Ordinance states you must wear a mask at all times within our building (and we will too).

But if you are not comfortable coming in, please shop online and pick up your order by calling us for curbside pickup, or we still have time to ship your items.

And if you would like to see our items right from your home, you are always welcome to call us and we can video with you so you can see what we have in stock.

Shop local and shop handmade here with The Picker Artists this holiday season!

So although we don’t have time before Christmas to complete any new commissioned orders, we have plenty of handmade gifts in stock.

-Happy Holidays Everyone, we hope to see you soon !!

Our 2020 Symposium Is ON!

We are happy to announce that our Nashua International Sculpture Symposium is on!

Opening Ceremony is Thursday, August 20 at 5:30 beside our building.

The Stream can be seen at  http://accessnashua.org/stream.php at 8:30 pm on August 20, and also on the Picker Building’s YouTube page, “Picker Artists & Nashua Symposium” (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Picker+Artists+%26+Nashua+Symposium

We are following strict safety protocols from our City’s Health and Community Services department. We will stream the opening so that everyone can join in our celebration.

Our work site is open to visitors daily from 10-4, Monday through Saturday, beginning Monday, August 24, through September 9 (or so, depending on installation dates). Please feel free to join us, providing you bring your mask and remain socially distant.

Our Closing Ceremonies will be streamed in the same manner for all to join us online. Our Closing will be at the installation site this year.

We also are looking for sponsors to provide meals to our sculptors this year. Safety protocols in place mean we need to provide meals made in restaurants this year. Please visit our website, NashuaSculptureSymposium.org/table for details.

As always, we are happy to join partners with the Nashua International Sculpture Symposium. While at the site, call us (number on the door) if you would like to come inside. Our doors remain locked, so that we can control the number of people in the building at one time (with masks on). We will be happy to see you!

Shopping with us…

I’ve always loved spring. New budding trees and flowers and grass and all.

This year, we all know it’s different. Our beautiful building full of love and creativity is eerily quiet now that we have a lockdown and can’t let our wonderful customers in. Sometimes it’s just one of us, sometimes one or two, but mostly it’s quiet. And we really don’t like it this way.

We have created an online store for our customers to shop with us. Please visit us at:

www.ShopPickerArtists.com

And please pass it along too. You can order online and have us deliver, or you can order online and we will come outside with your purchases.

If you’re not sure what you’d like to buy but want to help us, you could purchase a gift certificate either for yourself, or for someone else for an upcoming holiday or birthday or graduation.

Please help us survive. We appreciate you all very, very much.

Happy 2020 Everyone

We hope you have had a wonderful holiday season, we sure have!

Thank you to all our wonderful customers who came by to see us. A special Thank You goes out to the WMUR Chronicle Team! We had such a great time with you in October and November, and feel very blessed to have been featured on your show.

We are huge fans of the show, and so we were so thrilled to have this opportunity. It has brought us wonderful exposure and we are so grateful!

So please, stop on by. We are open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:30 to 5:00. Saturdays from 10:00 to 3:00. Mondays are a run around day for most of us, so sometimes we are here, sometimes not. As always, if our “Open” flag is flying on our front porch, please come on in!

Hope to see you soon 🙂
– The Picker Artists

There’s still time!! The building will be open Tomorrow, Christmas Eve Day, from 9:30 to 2:00. We would love to see you !!
